Conflicted

During a summer when I felt pushed, creating art became a mirror for everything I couldn't put into words. Conflicted is a small but deeply complex abstract piece dominated by heavy blacks and reds. It earned its title because of the hidden imagery that emerged naturally through the paint. If you study the canvas, perhaps you'll begin to see multiple faces take shape. It's a moody, raw piece about the voices and emotions we battle when we are trying to find our way through the dark. The painting is signed and finished with a high-quality varnish.
