Memories in Gray

Modern urban abstract

$1800.00

This was the second abstract painting I ever created—a raw testament to personal survival. Painted during a turbulent turning point in my late 40s, it captures a quiet struggle for control: scrapers tried to impose sharp, geometric lines, while tentative blotting with paper towels softened the colors, revealing a raw fear of being too bold. What remains is a layered, sepia-toned city ghost: a beautiful, conflicted landscape where flashes of green emerge as quiet sparks of survival and hope. The painting has two coats of high-quality varnish and is signed.
